Travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology Med/Surg Unit | Greenwich, CT

- Schedule: 3×12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), every other weekend
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- Float: As needed

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Connecticut, or eligibility to obtain before the start date
- Minimum of 3 years of oncology nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
- OCN certification required
- Recent Epic charting experience required
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Strong clinical experience with oncology medications, central lines, and blood product administration
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality oncology nursing care to patients with primarily oncology diagnoses
- Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IVIG, and continuous IV pain medications according to established protocols
- Monitor patients for treatment response, adverse effects, and changes in condition
- Deliver end-of-life comfort care and symptom management with empathy and professionalism
- Manage central lines, ports, PCAs, and infusion therapies safely and effectively
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, precautions, and supportive care needs
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support excellent patient outcomes
- Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication across the care team
