Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care | Part-Time Evenings in Geneva, NY
Compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a part-time evening long-term care nursing opportunity in Geneva, New York. Join a supportive skilled nursing team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of adult and geriatric residents in the beautiful Finger Lakes region.
Job Details
- Location: Geneva, NY
- Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing
- Employment Type: Travel LPN job
- Schedule: Part-time evenings
- Shifts Per Week: 2 to 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: As scheduled
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,300 – $1,360
- Start Date: October 13, 2026
- Contract Duration: 18 weeks
- Openings: 2
LPN Job Requirements
- Current New York LPN license
- Current BLS certification through AHA or RQI
- Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric residents
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to complete a full-day orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents in a long-term care setting
- Collect ongoing resident data and communicate findings to the RN and interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Support the development and implementation of individualized resident care plans
- Evaluate resident outcomes and recommend revisions to the plan of care as needed
- Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to support quality outcomes
- Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education and in-service learning
- Assist with mentoring and orientation of staff as appropriate
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and coworkers
