Travel Sonographer Job in Jackson, Tennessee – Echocardiography & Vascular Ultrasound

Job Details
- Setting: Hospital-based imaging
- Location: Jackson, Tennessee
- Assignment Length: 6 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
- Shifts Per Week: 4
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 – $2,090
- Patient Population: Adults
- Daily Volume: Approximately 8 visits per day
- On-Call: Not required
- Weekends/Holidays: No weekends and no holidays
Sonographer Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of sonography experience required
- Experience with echocardiography required
- Vascular ultrasound experience preferred, including lower extremities, carotids, and ABIs
- Active ARDMS certification required
- RDCS, RVT, or RCS credential required
- BLS certification required
- Recent Epic experience required and must be documented on the profile
- Ability to pass Epic competency testing
- Active Tennessee or compact license required at time of submission
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and sonography procedures in a hospital imaging environment
- Complete echocardiography studies with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Support vascular ultrasound procedures when needed, including studies of lower extremities, carotids, and ABIs
- Document exams thoroughly and maintain strong charting practices in Epic
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support smooth patient flow and timely imaging services
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety and quality standards
