- Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Shift Pattern: 3 x 12-hour evening shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Setting: High-volume Emergency Department with trauma care, behavioral health support, and all-ages patient care
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; schedule blocks include consecutive shifts
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice or compact state licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- Preferred: 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Preferred: recent critical care experience
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
- Preferred certifications: TNCC, NRP
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation is required for this role
- Strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Comfort caring for patients of all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care based on acuity
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care, stabilize patients, and support timely interventions
- Care for patients presenting with trauma, medical emergencies, psychiatric needs, and other urgent conditions
- Support resuscitation, crisis intervention, and emergency management efforts as needed
- Contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, and effective communication across departments
- Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and calm decision-making during high-stress situations
