ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing Assignment in Plano, TX

Job Details

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540
- Schedule Notes: 2 weekends per pay period required

Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
- Trauma, burn, or surgical ICU experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative healthcare environment
- Comfortable floating to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or PCU as needed
- BSN preferred
- CCRN preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a busy ICU setting
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Perform and support common critical care procedures including wound care, codes, EVDs, and MTP
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
- Use critical thinking and clinical judgment to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies and best practices
- Contribute to a supportive team culture by communicating openly and helping others when needed
