- Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Shift Duration: 12-hour days
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- Experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or similar acute care settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients with cardiac conditions and complex post-procedure needs in a stepdown setting
- Perform ongoing assessments and respond quickly to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and best practices
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on recovery, symptom reporting, discharge readiness, and cardiac care instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality care
