Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU / Post-Anesthesia Recovery Job in Canton, Georgia

Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Shift Time: 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,690 – $1,780
- Location: Canton, Georgia
- Healthcare Setting: Ambulatory surgery / post-anesthesia recovery (PACU)
- Coverage Expectations: Must be available for designated holiday coverage as outlined by the assignment
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Previous PACU, post-anesthesia care, or similar acute care experience preferred
- Ability to work a Monday-Friday daytime schedule with strong attention to detail
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the post-anesthesia and recovery setting
- Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall patient stability
- Assess patients throughout the recovery process and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the care team to support safe patient flow
- Provide clear patient education and discharge support as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Support patient safety, comfort, and efficient throughput throughout the day
