Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse Job in Akron, Ohio
Travel to Akron, OH and bring your telemetry RN expertise to a fast-paced 28-bed neuro-tele unit. This Registered Nurse travel assignment is ideal for a confident Telemetry Nurse who thrives in acute care, enjoys clinical variety, and wants to make a meaningful impact caring for neuro and post-trauma patients in Northeast Ohio.

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Patient Ratio: 1:4/5
- Work Environment: Fast-paced acute care unit with floating required
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months required
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Experience starting and maintaining IVs
- Strong stroke assessment skills and neuro patient care experience
- Experience with post-trauma patients preferred
- Accredited nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE program required
- Ability to float as needed within the hospital
- Solid black scrubs required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to neuro and post-trauma patients
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Perform stroke scale assessments and support neurological monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Start and maintain IV access and assist with phlebotomy as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, effective outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC
- Float to other areas as assigned while maintaining excellent patient care
