Burn ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing Job in Saint Paul, MN
Experienced ICU RN needed for a high-acuity Burn ICU travel contract in Saint Paul, Minnesota (55101). Join a collaborative critical care team and provide patient-centered care in a specialized burn unit in downtown Saint Paul.
Job Details
- Position: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) – Burn ICU
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Location: Saint Paul, MN 55101
- Start Date: 10/03/2026
- End Date: 02/20/2027
- Duration: 20 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every weekend
- Holiday Requirement: As needed
- Floating: Willingness to float to other ICUs, PCU, MedSurg/Tele, and ED Boarding when needed
- Orientation: Typically scheduled on Tuesday or Wednesday each week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 – $2,480
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Active Minnesota RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Current AHA ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Ability to work night shifts and every weekend
- Prior burn care experience is a plus, but not required
- New graduates are not accepted for this assignment
- Ability to provide required submission documents, including an updated resume, active licenses/certifications, skills checklist, and prescreen questionnaire
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, high-acuity nursing care in a Burn ICU environment
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding quickly to changes in condition
- Support burn resuscitation protocols and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to clinical standards
- Document patient care accurately and maintain clear communication with the healthcare team
- Float to additional units as needed based on departmental needs and patient volume
- Promote a safe, efficient, and healing-focused environment for patients and families
