Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- Orthopedic nursing or medical-surgical (med-surg) experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively in a night-shift, team-oriented acute care environment
- Comfortable delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to orthopedic patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor patient status, complete assessments, and document clinical findings accurately
- Support pre- and post-operative care, including pain management and recovery support
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, mobility, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations
- Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
