Job Details
- Position: Acute Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 – $2,200
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: 3x12s
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Unit: Blended ICU / CVICU
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
- Start Date: 10/19/2026
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
- Experience caring for critically ill adult and geriatric patients
- Comfort working in a fast-paced ICU/CVICU environment
- Ability to float as needed to Intermediate Care and ED holding for admitted patients
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and critical thinking
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex cardiac, medical, and surgical conditions
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient status in a critical care setting
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and maintain accurate documentation in the EHR
- Care for diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, sepsis, COPD exacerbation, stroke, trauma, and more
- Support advanced treatments and procedures, including CRRT and post-operative cardiac care
- Use clinical equipment and technology effectively to ensure safe, efficient patient care
- Float to other units as needed while maintaining a high standard of care
