Travel Acute Care Registered Nurse (ICU/CVICU) – Lake Havasu City, AZ
Travel RN opportunity in Lake Havasu City, Arizona for an experienced Acute Care Registered Nurse with ICU/CVICU experience. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 – $2,200
- Call Requirement: Yes
- Float Requirement: May float to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as needed
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- At least 2 years of recent ICU or acute care experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Comfort working in a high-acuity environment with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Ability to support a variety of cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma-related conditions
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and skilled bedside care for critically ill patients
- Monitor and manage complex patient conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, sepsis, stroke, COPD exacerbation, and acute respiratory failure
- Care for post-operative and specialty cardiac patients, including CABG and valve repair/replacement cases
- Support patients requiring advanced therapies such as CRRT
- Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and collaborate with the care team
- Float to the Intermediate Care Unit or ED holding area when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Deliver high-quality patient care while contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment
