Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Cypress, Texas
Bring your perioperative nursing expertise to a busy operating room team in Cypress, TX, just outside Northwest Houston. This 13-week travel Registered Nurse assignment offers the chance to support a high-volume surgical environment while enjoying convenient access to Houston-area dining, shopping, and outdoor recreation.

- Healthcare Setting: 9 OR suites, dedicated cysto room, and a collaborative surgical team
- EMR: Meditech
- Call Requirement: One weekday call shift per week
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
- Location: Cypress, TX 77429
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience preferred
- Active Texas RN license or compact RN license in good standing
- BLS certification required
- Strong background in general OR cases, with orthopedic experience highly valued
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical services environment with strong attention to detail
- Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems is helpful
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Support a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedics, spine, neuro, vascular, general surgery, bariatrics, robotics, and urology
- Maintain readiness for 1:1 patient care and collaborate closely with the surgical team
- Assist with circulating and other OR nursing duties as assigned
- Contribute to efficient room turnover and smooth workflow throughout the day
- Participate in one weekday call shift per week as scheduled
- Deliver professional, patient-centered care while maintaining a positive team environment
