Job Details
- Position: Travel Telemetry RN (Tele RN)
- Location: Springfield, Illinois 62769
- Unit: Cardiac/Pulmonary Telemetry
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Duration: 25 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week, with potential for 48-hour scheduling based on assignment needs
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040-$2,150
- Employment Type: Travel RN
Job Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in hand
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
- Telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient telemetry setting
- RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to telemetry patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient care standards
- Support a patient ratio of approximately 1:5-6
- Work collaboratively with unit support staff to promote efficient patient flow and quality outcomes
- Provide dependable night shift coverage and contribute to a positive team environment
