Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- ACLS certification required before start; submissions may be considered pending completion
- Cerner experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Permanent residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to adult medical-surgical patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
- Administer medications and complete physician orders accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Recognize changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and standards
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care while supporting a smooth night shift workflow
