Job Details
- Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
- Setting: Intermediate Care Unit / Telemetry
- Location: Springfield, Illinois
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Duration: 25 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, every other weekend as assigned
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040-$2,150
Job Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in hand
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience preferred
- Strong telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and acute care skills
- Ability to work night shift RN schedules and every-other-weekend coverage
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an intermediate care and telemetry setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status throughout the shift
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond quickly and appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and best practices
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Support patients and families with clear communication, clinical guidance, and compassionate care
