Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg, Medical-Surgical, or acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
- Strong communication, teamwork, clinical assessment, and patient advocacy skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients in an acute care environment
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans, hospital protocols, and best practices
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to promote positive patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a supportive, organized, and patient-centered care environment
