Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment in Austin, TX 78704

This 13-week travel nursing opportunity offers 36 guaranteed hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and the chance to work with a collaborative emergency care team in Austin, TX.
Job Details

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency room nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- ENPC certification
- TNCC certification
- NIHSS certification
- Meditech experience preferred
- Trauma nursing experience preferred
- Inpatient nursing experience preferred
- CPI certification preferred
- Strong multitasking, teamwork, and self-starter mindset
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a varied patient population in a busy ED setting
- Support trauma, cardiac, and behavioral health patients with safe, efficient emergency care
- Perform and assist with procedures such as splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, central line support, and airway support
- Use critical thinking, calm communication, and effective prioritization to manage patient care
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the healthcare team to deliver timely interventions
- Assist with rapid response, resuscitation, and behavioral health de-escalation as needed
