Job Details
- Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540
- Schedule: Weekend availability may be needed; no on-call
- Location: San Antonio, TX 78201
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience
- Active RN license in good standing
- Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Strong clinical skills in emergency nursing, triage, and rapid patient assessment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
- Preferred: ultrasound-guided IV experience
- Reliable, friendly, adaptable, and patient-focused with a positive can-do attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department setting
- Perform triage, medication administration, splinting, and other essential ER procedures
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Utilize emergency department equipment and documentation systems accurately
- Support safe, efficient care in both main ED and fast-track areas as needed
- Maintain a professional, team-focused approach throughout each shift
