Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to assist with diagnostic, interventional, and structural heart procedures in a specialized cardiac cath lab. Job Details
- Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Tech
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts
- Shifts Per Week: 4
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
- Start Date: 09/27/2026
- Location: Asheville, NC 28801
- On-Call: Every 5th weekend, 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
- EMR: Cerner
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Cath Lab Tech or Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- RCIS or ARRT certification required for tech positions
- Experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional heart catheterization procedures
- Support structural heart procedures as needed
- Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and the cardiovascular care team to ensure safe, effective patient care
- Monitor workflow and maintain a smooth lab operation during assigned shifts
- Follow unit policies, safety standards, and best practices for cath lab care
