Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring skills
- Experience with respiratory support, advanced airways, and oxygen management
- Ability to manage cardiac drips with confidence
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and clinical judgement
- Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for telemetry patients in a high-acuity hospital setting
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Support patients undergoing stress tests, heart caths, CABG care, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube management
- Collaborate closely with charge nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs), and unit clerks to maintain efficient patient flow
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Float as needed to related med-surg and ED holding areas within the same level of care
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that supports excellent patient outcomes
