Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Corpus Christi, Texas

- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Work Environment: 8 inpatient beds plus 8 admission unit beds, with flexible census support as needed
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of recent acute medical-surgical nursing experience within the last year
- Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time in a telemetry or med-surg setting
- Telemetry RN or medical-surgical background preferred
- Ortho or neuro-surgery experience is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Positive, patient-centered attitude and commitment to quality patient care
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult telemetry and medical-surgical patients
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes in status, and respond appropriately
- Administer medications and complete standard nursing interventions
- Perform IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, and central line maintenance
- Document accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the care team to support safe patient outcomes
- Float to med-surg units as needed based on patient census and staffing needs
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage as assigned
