Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Leawood, Kansas

Job Details

- Guaranteed Hours: 48 preferred
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 12/14/2026
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680-$1,770
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience or similar acute care experience
- BLS required
- ACLS or PALS preferred
- Ability to thrive in a very team-oriented, fast-paced hospital environment
- Comfort working rotating weekends
- Meditech experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting
- Care for patients recovering from total joint replacements, complex spine cases, complex neuro surgeries, and general surgery
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Support safe, efficient care delivery in a busy 32-bed medical-surgical unit
- Float as needed to Med/Tele and Surgical Specialty areas
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and follow unit standards
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while contributing to a positive team culture
