Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
- High-risk Labor & Delivery and High-Risk OB experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery
- Support safe, high-quality outcomes for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery
- Monitor patients closely and respond effectively to changing clinical needs
- Collaborate with physicians, OB providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Deliver care in a high-acuity maternal-child setting with confidence and professionalism
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in women’s health nursing
