Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Travel Job in Roseville, CA
Experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel RN assignment in Roseville, CA, near the Sacramento area. Join a fast-paced maternal health team and provide compassionate care to laboring patients, newborns, and families during one of life’s most important moments.

- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job

- Area: Sacramento-area healthcare community
- Setting: On-site hospital-based labor and delivery unit
- Start Date: 11/1/2026
- End Date: 1/30/2027
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030 – $3,190
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- At least 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification required
- Prior Labor & Delivery nursing experience strongly preferred
- High-risk OB experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to laboring patients and newborns in a busy Labor & Delivery environment
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support safe labor progression, delivery preparation, and post-delivery recovery care
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure excellent outcomes
- Assist with high-risk obstetric cases and promote a safe, supportive experience for patients and families
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and follow established hospital protocols
- Deliver patient education and emotional support throughout the labor and delivery process
