Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification preferred/required for consideration
- Labor & Delivery RN experience required; high-risk L&D experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
- Five or more years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and attentive care to laboring patients and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Assist with assessments, interventions, and care coordination in high-acuity situations
- Support patients, families, and the care team with clear communication and professionalism
- Respond appropriately to changing patient conditions and clinical needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established hospital clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
