- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030 – $3,190
- Setting: On-site acute care / maternity unit
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
- High-risk OB experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support high-risk labor and delivery cases using strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive outcomes
- Administer medications and interventions according to clinical protocols and nursing standards
- Educate patients and families throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum experience
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards of care in a fast-paced healthcare environment
