- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
- Schedule: Day shift, typically 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, triage, and patient prioritization skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity ER nursing environment
- Cerner experience preferred
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Must be willing to float as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Room patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
- Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to support safe, efficient patient care
- Delegate and supervise patient care tasks appropriately based on staff skill mix
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development
- Support safe, timely transitions of care in a dynamic Emergency Department setting
