Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job – Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas, TX

- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 07:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810 – $1,940

Job Requirements
- Current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license or credential
- At least 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred
- Experience in inpatient rehab, acute rehab, or hospital-based therapy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
- Comfort working with patients recovering from complex neurological and orthopedic conditions
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered speech therapy care
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and provide speech-language therapy services for inpatient rehabilitation patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, clinical findings, and recovery needs
- Support patients with communication, cognition, swallowing, and related functional challenges
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and case management to promote coordinated care
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Help patients improve independence, safety, and overall quality of life throughout recovery
