Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail in a busy surgical setting
- Experience with surgical specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, neuro, ENT, plastics, urology, and more is a plus
- Robotics experience preferred
- Comfortable supporting a 1:1 patient care model
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate perioperative nursing care in the OR
- Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures, including general surgery, surgical oncology, GYN/GYN ONC, ortho, neuro, ENT, plastics, burn, urology, podiatry, and colorectal cases
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow
- Maintain sterile technique and uphold OR safety and infection control standards
- Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for procedures
- Support robotics cases within a large and active robotics program
- Adapt to rotating on-call needs and contribute to excellent patient outcomes
