Job Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of assignment
- Recent Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, ICU, or Progressive Care Unit experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
- Experience with a 5-bed Med-Surg rotation preferred/required as noted by the unit
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and patient communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a Progressive Care Unit with neuro-focused needs
- Monitor patient status closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective care
- Document care accurately and efficiently using Epic
- Follow unit standards, competencies, and clinical protocols in an acute care setting
- Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a busy hospital environment
- Adhere to dress code and unit-specific expectations, including required scrub color
