Job Details
- Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

- Setting: Acute Care Surgical Services
- Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,400 – $2,520
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- Shifts Per Week: 5
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, primarily 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Call Requirements: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotation as needed
- Floating: May float to outpatient surgery as needed
- Charting System: Epic
- Start Date: ASAP
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2-3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- 2-3 previous travel nurse assignments preferred
- Orthopedic OR experience required
- Experience passing arms in and out for robotics required
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties strongly preferred
- ACLS and BLS required
- PALS preferred
- Must be comfortable with call responsibilities and a fast-paced surgical workflow
- Epic experience required
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
- Circulate surgical cases and support the surgical team during procedures
- Assist with a broad mix of cases including general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, robotics, neuro/spine, vascular, trauma, pediatrics, and emergent procedures
- Support call coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on unit needs
- Float to outpatient surgery when required
- Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication with the surgical team
- Adapt to a high-volume surgical services unit while contributing to efficient room turnover and patient flow
