Travel Physical Therapist Job – Outpatient Assignment in Durham, NC

- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,760 – $1,890
- Location: Durham, NC
Job Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
- CPR certification
- At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative care team
Responsibilities
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized outpatient treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction
- Implement and modify physical therapy plans to support progress toward functional goals and discharge readiness
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and regulatory guidelines
- Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers as part of the care process
- Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services as appropriate
- Promote patient safety, maintain professional standards, and follow clinic policies and procedures
- Participate in professional development, continuing education, and quality improvement efforts
