Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia
Experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Lynchburg, VA. - Weekly Hours: 40
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
- Location: Lynchburg, Virginia
- Orientation: Orientation dates are scheduled on select Mondays
- Schedule Notes: Up to 3 call shifts per week, including weekend call rotation
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in Virginia or a Compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Current BLS certification
- Scrub and circulate experience required
- Experience with vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotics preferred/required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, new hires, and the perioperative team
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the Operating Room and perioperative setting
- Scrub and circulate for surgical procedures as needed
- Support vascular, neuro, and robotic surgeries with confidence and precision
- Participate in call coverage, including weekend rotation
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to promote safe, efficient patient care
- Maintain flexibility, professionalism, and strong clinical judgment in a busy surgical environment
