- Weekly Estimated Pay: $513,330 – $550,000
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, with weekday night call and weekend call coverage
- Coverage Pattern: Full-time coverage initially, with recurring part-time coverage anticipated afterward
- Call Coverage: Yes; minimal callback expected
Job Requirements
- Board Certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Active Michigan medical license or participation in the IMLC
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to perform required procedures, including amniocentesis, cerclage, and external cephalic version (ECV)
- At least 1 year of experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or a related obstetric specialty
- Strong comfort level with inpatient consults, ultrasound interpretation, and collaborative resident supervision
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine coverage for high-risk obstetric patients
- Review and round on inpatient MFM patients with residents
- Complete inpatient consults and phone consultations, with in-person evaluations as clinically needed
- Interpret and manage ultrasound services and related consults
- Supervise residents in high-risk obstetric clinic settings as needed
- Perform required procedures, including amniocentesis, cerclage, and ECV
- Participate in weekday, weekend, and night call coverage
- Support high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients in a collaborative care environment
