- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 – $1,990
- Hours Per Week: 40
Job Requirements
- Current Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license
- BLS certification required
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient therapy settings required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Apply evidence-based therapy approaches in a collaborative hospital rehabilitation environment
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Track patient progress and adjust therapy goals as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the care team
- Educate patients and families on therapy plans, home exercises, and recovery goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
