Job Requirements
- Active RN license and eligibility to practice in Iowa
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and time-management skills
- Comfortable working night shifts and every third weekend
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to medical/surgical telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status, recognizing changes quickly
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and recovery throughout the shift
