Interventional Radiology Travel Assignment in North Chesterfield, Virginia, just outside Richmond. Job Details
- Setting: Interventional Radiology, Angiography, and Special Procedures
- Location: North Chesterfield, VA 23235 (Richmond, Virginia area)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 – $2,380
- Schedule: Call coverage after hours and weekends
- Environment: Busy interventional radiology unit with heavy neuro volumes
- Equipment: Philips and GE biplane systems
- EMR: Meditech
Job Requirements
- Neuro IR experience required
- Current Radiologic Technologist certification or equivalent credential
- Experience supporting interventional radiology, angiography, or special procedures cases
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced procedural setting
- Comfortable with after-hours and weekend call coverage
- Strong attention to patient safety, communication, and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional radiology and angiography procedures
- Support neuro-focused procedural cases in a high-volume environment
- Operate imaging equipment and help maintain efficient workflow throughout the unit
- Prepare patients and procedural rooms with a focus on safety and quality care
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the clinical team to deliver seamless procedural support
- Participate in after-hours and weekend call coverage as needed
- Maintain a professional, team-oriented presence in a busy clinical setting
