Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
- Recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or medical-surgical nursing strongly preferred
- Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
- Ability to monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
- Monitor telemetry patients and promptly communicate changes in condition to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and document care thoroughly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
