Radiologist Job Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Physician in Radiology
- At least 1 year of radiology experience preferred
- General diagnostic radiology experience with moderate interventional radiology procedures and diagnostic reading
- Fellowship training in interventional radiology (IR) preferred, but not required
- Active medical license in hand required with submission
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Nursys required with submission
- Cerner experience preferred
- Travel physician experience highly preferred
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
Responsibilities
- Provide general radiology coverage with a combination of diagnostic reads and moderate interventional procedures
- Perform CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies, excluding mammography
- Complete drain placements, including renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder, and abscess cases
- Support biliary stent procedures and other interventional radiology needs as appropriate
- Perform thoracentesis and paracentesis procedures
- Assist with dialysis procedures in the cath lab
- Handle occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases
- Participate in rare embolization procedures, including GI and other bleeding cases
- Deliver high-quality, timely interpretations in a weekday-only, no-call environment
