Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $580-$620
- Location: Remote (based in Austin, TX 78702) — remote dental job / tele-dentistry position
- Employment Type: Part-Time, Remote (tele-dentistry)
- Hours Per Week: 5
- Shifts Per Week: 1
- Shift Duration: 5 hours per shift
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)

Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Dental License in the U.S.; multiple state licenses preferred (facilitates tele-dentistry across states)
- Clinical background in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, or Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a plus
- Interest or experience in functional medicine and oral-to-gut (oral-systemic) health highly desirable
- Comfortable with asynchronous chart review, dental telehealth workflows, and EMR platforms
- Ability to review and assess medical history, diagnosis, and product suitability for remote patients

Responsibilities
- Perform asynchronous review of patient charts and provide evidence-based recommendations for dental products and services (tele-dentistry chart review)
- Assess medical history, dental diagnosis, and product suitability to support remote treatment planning
- Write letters of medical necessity to support patient access to products via HSA/FSA and insurance when applicable
- Use EMR platform for chart review, documentation, and patient messaging as needed
- Sign off on documentation to confirm medical necessity and ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate records of chart reviews, recommendations, and clinical rationale
