Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,190 – $2,550
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- On Call / Weekend Requirement: Yes (participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend coverage)
- Coverage Area: 50-mile radius from office (Troy, AL)
- Travel: Mileage reimbursed between patient visits
- Role Type: Home Health Nurse / Travel RN assignment
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements apply)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; homecare or home health experience preferred
- Strong patient assessment and documentation skills, including OASIS documentation
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and provide case management in the home setting
- Reliable transportation for travel within the 50-mile coverage area
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to home health patients within a 50-mile radius of Troy, AL
- Conduct OASIS visits, comprehensive patient assessments, and timely documentation
- Deliver skilled nursing services and coordinate individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as required
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and communication with supervisors
