Travel CVOR OR Tech Job in Salem, VA | Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist

- Scrub Attire: Light blue scrubs provided
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room or CVOR setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- CVOR experience required
- Scrubbing experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a flexible, knowledgeable, self-starter role
- Comfort with weekday, weekend, and holiday call schedule
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures in a two-room OR environment
- Support high-acuity cases including CABG, thoracotomy, endovascular AAA, valve replacement, and pacemaker procedures
- Provide dependable support to the surgical team while maintaining patient safety, efficiency, and sterile technique
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and fellow OR staff in a 1:1 patient care environment
- Maintain readiness for call coverage and respond professionally to evolving surgical needs
