Dialysis Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Montana
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience
- Previous dialysis nursing experience
- Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, and patient education skills
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and provide compassionate care in an outpatient dialysis setting
Outpatient Dialysis Nursing Responsibilities
- Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Monitor patient responses to dialysis treatment and identify changes in condition
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients across the ages served by the unit
- Educate patients and families about dialysis care, treatment plans, and health maintenance
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
