CT Technologist – Travel Hospital Job in Santa Rosa, California

CT Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,940-$3,160
- Position Type: Travel assignment
- Healthcare Setting: Hospital imaging department
- Location: Santa Rosa, California
- Start Date: October 1, 2026
- End Date: January 1, 2027
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour overnight shifts
- Shift: Nights, generally 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM; schedule may vary and is typically provided several weeks in advance
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent hospital imaging experience
- Current California radiologic technology license
- ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- Demonstrated competency in CT imaging procedures, computed tomography, and hospital-based patient care
- Ability to work overnight shifts and support the X-ray unit when needed
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols and patient safety standards
- Prepare patients for computed tomography exams, explain procedures, and promote comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Operate CT equipment and evaluate images for technical quality
- Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and hospital imaging policies
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
- Provide coverage and perform radiographic examinations in the X-ray unit as needed
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain a high standard of patient-focused care
