Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele | Trenton, New Jersey
Experienced Registered Nurse needed for an 8-week travel nursing assignment in Med/Surg Tele in the greater Trenton, New Jersey area. Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
- Recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience strongly preferred
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- Ability to assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Tele setting
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly communicate changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Perform patient assessments and develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe and effective patient care
- Document all care, interventions, and patient responses thoroughly and accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused clinical environment
