Travel Mammography Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870-$2,010
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel healthcare assignment
• Location: Atlanta, Georgia
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• End Date: January 23, 2027
• Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Approximately 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Healthcare Setting: High-volume breast care imaging department
• Patient Volume: Approximately 100 patients per day

Mammography Technologist Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent mammography experience
• At least 1 previous travel assignment required
• ARRT certification in Mammography
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-volume breast imaging department
• Willingness to work two major holidays and one minor holiday during the assignment, as scheduled
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Breast Imaging Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations using Hologic equipment
• Provide safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care throughout the mammography imaging process
• Support breast biopsy procedures and related breast imaging services
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and other imaging professionals to support timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established imaging, radiation safety, and quality standards
• Assist with additional imaging services, including breast ultrasound and bone density studies, as assigned
• Maintain efficient workflow while upholding image quality and patient-centered service in a busy breast care environment
