Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Per Diem | Camden, NJ
Experienced Emergency Room RN wanted for a per diem nursing opportunity in Camden, New Jersey (08103). Join a high-acuity, Level I Trauma emergency care team and provide skilled, compassionate patient care during 12-hour shifts using EPIC. This 13-week emergency department assignment offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to serve patients across the emergency care spectrum.
Emergency Room RN Job Details
- Specialty: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Schedule: Per diem; six shifts every six weeks, including three weekday shifts and three weekend shifts
- Shift: 12-hour shifts; posted coverage includes 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. assignments
- Start Date: October 27, 2026
- Duration: 13-week nursing assignment
- Location: Camden, New Jersey 08103
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $710-$750
Emergency Room Nurse Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent Emergency Room RN or emergency department nursing experience
- Previous Level I Trauma experience
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Current, active New Jersey Registered Nurse license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current ATCN or TNCC certification
- Current flu vaccination required
Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Room setting
- Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patients according to acuity
- Respond effectively to trauma, emergent, and life-threatening conditions
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate timely interventions
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EPIC
- Promote patient safety, clear communication, and compassionate care throughout the emergency visit
