Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030-$2,190
• Location: Bozeman, Montana

• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts with variable scheduling
• Call: Participation in a call rotation may be required
• Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the assignment location to be considered

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as a registered radiologic technologist
• ARRT certification as R.T.(R) with advanced CT registry, R.T.(CT)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Preferred: At least 1 year of CT experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center
• Ability to work independently in a complex acute care inpatient environment
• Strong communication, organization, clinical judgment, and patient-care skills
• Ability to support patients with mobility needs and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds when required

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations for patients in the NICU, CCU, emergency department, inpatient units, and other hospital departments
• Operate CT imaging equipment and adjust technical parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure
• Apply knowledge of CT imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to support accurate image interpretation
• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during CT examinations and procedures
• Complete accurate documentation, exam tracking, billing support, archiving, and image retrieval activities
• Review imaging orders and relevant patient information to support timely performance and reporting of examinations
• Perform routine equipment quality checks and quality control activities in accordance with organizational and manufacturer guidelines
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and required continuing education
• Train and support peers while contributing to a collaborative medical imaging team
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure when caring for patients and families in stressful situations
