Travel Sonographer Job Details

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730-$1,860
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, through February 1, 2027
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Schedule: Thursday through Saturday, approximately 3 shifts per week
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Equipment: GE LOGIQ E10
- Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
Ultrasound Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 6 months of current sonographer or ultrasound technologist experience
- Active Colorado license
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT (S) or ARDMS credential
- Ability to perform abdominal, pelvic, and rule-out DVT examinations
- Prior hospital ultrasound or diagnostic radiology experience preferred
- Previous Meditech experience preferred
- Flexible, kind, and patient-focused approach to care
Diagnostic Sonographer Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with department standards and established protocols
- Complete abdominal and pelvic imaging studies, including rule-out DVT examinations
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using the GE LOGIQ E10 ultrasound system
- Accurately document examinations and patient information in the Meditech electronic medical record
- Provide compassionate communication and maintain patient comfort throughout each examination
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and the imaging team to support timely patient care
- Follow hospital safety, infection prevention, and diagnostic imaging department policies
